Error code comes into being either when there is something wrong with your synchronization schedule for Windows 10 Mail or the number of email folders that you are trying to sync is more than what the program can handle. In most cases, is it the latter rather than the former as, for some reason, Windows 10 Mail only seems to be able to sync with your email account as long as the email folders in your account don’t exceed a specific number. Error code 0x86000112 basically inhibits you from being able to sync Windows 10 Mail with your email account, which basically means that you will not be able to access your emails through Windows 10 Mail. Error 0x86000112 persists regardless of how much you tinker and play around with your synchronization schedule. Fortunately, there is a way that you can use to get rid of error code 0x86000112 for good and regain the ability to sync Windows 10 Mail with your email account – perform a factory reset. A factory reset is bound to get your Windows 10 Mail working exactly as it should be, but all this will come at a cost. A factory reset will not only get rid of all the programs and applications you have installed on your computer but, because of the route that you will be taking, will also wipe all of your personal files and data. Since that is the case, be sure to back everything of value up before you continue. To perform a factory reset on a Windows 10 computer, you need to: Open the Start Menu. Click on Settings.

Out of the array of different options provided, click on Update & Security. Click on Recovery in the left pane. In the right pane, click on the Get started button under the Reset this PC

When provided with a choice to either keep your files or remove everything, click on Remove everything. Follow the onscreen instructions and dialogs, and once you are done, your computer will have been reset to factory settings, all traces of error 0x86000112 will have been wiped and Windows 10 Mail will be able to sync with your email account exactly as it should be.
